As a servant of God, nothing brings me more joy than receiving messages of gratitude from those we have helped. Just recently, we received a message that said, "Thank you so much for helping us out. Thanks to you, my kids have food even though we still haven't received our food stamp card. What you do is amazing, and I just want you to know that." While we appreciate the kind words, we don't deserve any of the credit. We serve because we love God and His people, and we do it with no expectation of reward.
We understand that not everyone is able to serve in the same way we do, but we are encouraged by your prayers, thoughts, and kind words. They give us the strength to keep reaching out to those who are broken, displaced, and underserved. Our mission is rooted in the belief that every individual has worth, value, and is loved by our Heavenly Father. We serve to point others to Him and to live out the Gospel we preach.
We serve because of you, and we want you to know that we love and appreciate you. We are grateful for every opportunity to serve and make a positive impact in the lives of others. Why do we serve? Because every person is worth it.
